Our half day course is designed to meet the needs of larger groups, with less time to access the learning

The course will cover:

*Suicide stigma, thoughts and behaviours, intention versus outcome behaviour and possible causes

*Meeting the needs of a person thinking of suicide, a suicide safety guide.

*Recognising and asking about suicide and understanding options

*Referring a person onto a suicide first aider

All attendees receive an NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION accredited certification. Accredited by City & Guilds of London. Upon satisfactory completion participants attain 6 credits at level 4.

Furthermore, the life skills to use anywhere at anytime that may arise at work or personal life.

No previous experience or training is necessary. Participants will be asked to self- reflect and empathise with a person having thoughts of suicide.

Every Mental Health First Aid course with Prosafe is delivered by our quality assured instructors, qualified directly by The National Centre for Suicide Prevention. They are trained to keep people safe and supported while they learn this emotive topic.

Sensitivity, support and care are integral to the this course from our instructors.
